Let me know what you all think. Thanks for the support!
My name is Monica Daniels music is my life and Country music is my love. I’ve known all my life that I wanted to be a singer-songwriter. At 3 yrs old I would stand on my Grandmothers Coffee table with a wooden spoon microphone and belt out “Grandpa” by the Judds, “80’s Ladies” by K.T. Oslin, “When you say nothing at all” by Keith Whitley, “Forever and ever, Amen” by Randy Travis and that was only the beginning of my set. As I grew so did my musical taste classical, pop, rock, folk, punk, ska, emo, indie, hip-hop, R&B, jazz and blues, I love some Stevie Ray Vaughn. But I faithfully return to my Country roots, its home and home is where the heart is, right. I like to think that I carry those other influences with me and let them inspire my music. When I write a song it’s about the story I want to tell, I write what I know, about what’s real. Harlan Howard said “All you need to write a country song is three chords and the truth.” I try to live by that.
